Installation Problem

Help:)
I have two problem's
1.Add to favorates...........im getting a db error
I have tryed this.......Run this query in phpMyAdmin:
ALTER TABLE `favorites` CHANGE `video_id` `file_id` INT( 10 ) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0'
Which has not solved the problem,I am running version 2

2. Contact...............is not sending mail

Hmm, I never noticed the contact page didnt sned any mails. How can we fix this>?

Running that query will fix the issue. It has worked for everyone else.

Contact you must make sure your settings in the admin area is correct.

The query has been run a number of times, error reported at line 228 in user.php........
I must be odd :(

My settings are correct in the admin area..................
My php version is 4.4.1
