I just upgraded to the new version and so far, I am having issues...
1) I backed up all of the my videos in the videos/ folder, installed the new version of the script and moved all of my videos into the new files/ folder. However, the admin panel will only show my the wmv and mov files. It no longer shows me the mpeg files. And when you try to view the mpeg files through the site, nothing happens. Why is this?
2) The admin panel only keeps me logged in for, max 20 seconds and then logs me out. I'll be editing on of the templates and then by the time I'm done and hit save, I got the "You must be logged in..." message. I then have to start all over... How do I fix this issue?
Thanks for your help!
Example of an mpeg on my site:
mpeg (http://www.joking.ws/file.php?id=15)
1. For the mpeg fix do this:
Copy the mpg extension within the admin panel. Then create a new extension called mpeg under the videos category. That will help with that issue.
2. With the admin panel not keeping you logged in. It will delete cookies everytime if you login the admin panel then view the site. I'll fix this problem in the future versions because it's a pain for me too when developing. A simple temporary fix: Load the admin login page in one browser. Load the front end of the site and login with a user account. Then log into the admin area with the loaded page. This will keep cookies for both the admin area and the user area.

Awesome! Everything works now... Except mov files are now craching my browser... Maybe just my browser though:

That video actually didn't even play for me. Make sure that the extension is using the correct code.

What browser did you use? If it was firefox, I just now added the embed tag. It crashed my firefox browser too (IE before). Maybe its my plugin..??
It's working fine for me in firefox. :)

OK, it works now... Somehow, my plugin must have gotten corrupted between yesterday and today..?? I just reinstalled quicktime and everything is back to normal now. Anyway, this new version is pretty sweet! The ajax in the admin rocks!

I'm also having major issues with the admin panel not keeping me logged in. I think that's a serious bug that needs to be fixed immediately with a patch instead of waiting for the new version.
It's impossible to add new videos, much less administering the site, without losing my sanity.
It's not a bug. The software was designed that way. But it will be changed.

It's not a bug. The software was designed that way. But it will be changed.
Example of what happened to me:
- after putting the title, description and thumbnails for 10 videos, I hit save.
- instead I get logged out and need to re-login.
- all the information that I've put in is lost and I need to re-enter again.
Was your script designed to do this?
No, but if you view the index page in the middle of doing that then it will delete your cookies.
