Cant connect to DB error

I am getting a connot connect to DB error when trying to install the script, I've made sure 100 times that the config file has the correct DB information. Please help.

What's the exact error you're recieving?

Humor Software cannot connect to the database. Please make sure you correctly modified the include/config.php file.

Is this during the installation or after the installation?

during the 1st step of the installation, when I point the browser to the install directory and hit the installhumor software button, the error comes up.
