Chmod templates to 777 ..
uploaded video to videos

gone to add video

clicked for image (done that)

Clicked to add video
then get error message

It appears you are attempting to readd these videos.

also the issue with thumbnails ? ?
what is the software needed
where do i get this
how do i install it ?

Did you chmod your thumbnails directory? You need the GD Library installed for this to thumbnail properly.
