There seems to be an issue with this script and mov, what I mean is the code it uses. I paid $60 bucks for a conversion program to convert wmv to mov but once that was done I started to get activex pop ups in IE and the video wouldn't play in firefox. I found this and wanted to know when you could update the script to work properly with mov:

I personally don't have issues with .mov files. Does anyone else experience these problems?

Can you provide a url where you are streaming .mov files with your script?
I run the software locally on my computer so I cannot provide a link. Please PM me your URL and I'll take a look at it.

I get the same error when I try your page.
Have you looked at your page with IE version 7

Yes, IE 7 doesn't give the activex pop up but it doesn't load the mov file.
As stated in my first post, that link details what MS changed in IE at the beginning of the year and it details what needs to be changed in any script supporting .mov files. I'm just wondering if the creator of the script will take care of this for me/us.

It be great to get an update.
Thank you.
This will need to be fixed in next version as it's going to take more than just a simple fix for this.

The update will be released with the next software update.
Yes that was already stated. The question remains, will will this be done?
Development of software takes time. You have to be patient a lot of planning goes into this.

A month later and still no update on this. Patience I can provide but as you are the developer of a piece of software that does not support something that stated was to be supported I would ask that you take the necessary steps to provide some type of update.

So you think after months have passed by that this would be fixed?
I mean if I wanted to burn money I would have just given it to my wife to spend, not spend it on a product that has ignored a feature they said was supported.
It's fixed in the new version. Check out the extension code for .mov files. I think you can see that it uses the code provided by apple.
